Mossberg Model 44 U.S. Training Bolt Action Rifle, #102524, .22 LR cal., 26'' barrel, parkerized finish, birch wood stock, blade front sight and adjustable Mossberg Microclick aperture rear sight. Marked on barrel ''O.F.MOSSBERG & SONS, INC. NEW HAVEN,CONN. U.S.A. 44 U.S. 22L.R. U.S.PROPERTY'', and on receiver ''U.S. PROPERTY''. Condition overall is very good as refinished, with the metal retaining almost all of its reparkerization. Stock has been sanded and now has a flat colored stained appearance, with a rough dark area on the left side of the forend. The red and green safety buttons have been re-attached inversely.
